Founded in April 2011, RollerAddict’s mission is to supply your ADDICTION to RAW ROLLER SPORTS CULTURE!!
Once you find derby, and you realize it is not only alive and well, but growing in your town, it sucks you in. Don’t deny it. We know. It happened to us. You see your first Bout at the local rink and suddenly remember how awesome you were on your Rainbow Bright skates in your parent’s driveway. You think to yourself, “Dang! I could do that!” You begin to dream about it every night. You find yourself loitering in the knee socks and fishnets section at Target. You think about it at work, during those boring product development meetings. You think about it during class, in the shower, at the grocery store while enthusiastically dodging the other shopper’s carts as you race for no good reason to the checkout stand….. Yeah. We understand. We’re just as addicted.
We’ve been around the block and we’ve seen this type of roller related addiction before. Whether in motorcross, longboarding, or roller derby – Super Fan or Super Star. We understand the NEED for that ROLLING SPEED!
Our dream is to combine the brilliance of experienced corporatized women with the raw addition to Roller Sports. To celebrate the dirty, glorious, raw grit in these enthralling emerging sports, while supporting the amazing women that continue to make their mark in the sports world. Join us in our addiction!!
(Roller Addict is an 8 on the Floor, LLC company.)
Who are we?
Carrie Coker-Aivaliotis – CEO
Carrie saw her first Bout (San Diego Derby Dolls) in January 2011, and she was immediately enamored. Carrie comes from a long lineage of neighborhood roller skating and the Doll’s banked track bout immediately struck that missing chord in her adult life! 16 years of corporate compliance in a resell environment had her dreaming of supplying knee highs and fishnets to the skaters she fell in love with. Proudly, Carrie passed her skills test with San Diego Roller Derby on her second try in May 2011, but has been on an extended break while launching RollerAddict.com. The dream of derby remains strong, and Carrie hopes to one day wear a star and score a point or two!

Sally sticks to an extreme regiment of working out, roller skating, mountain biking, eating right and the pursuit of helping other women recognize their inner Derby Demons!
